Málaga’s Noche en Blanco 2026: can’t-miss plans (and the stress-free way to get around)
There’s one night a year when Málaga completely changes: museums open late, live music spills into the streets, unique experiences pop up everywhere, and it genuinely feels like the whole city becomes a stage. In 2026, Noche en Blanco takes place on 16 May, from 20:00 to 01:00, with a huge, wide-ranging programme.
Because there’s so much going on, the key is to go in with a simple plan: pick four or five standout activities, leave time to wander, and—most importantly—sort out the biggest hassle from the very start: parking. If you’re coming by car, an easy option is to park at Málaga Plaza Shopping Centre’s car park (and reserve your space if you want total peace of mind). That way you avoid driving in circles and you can explore the city centre on foot with a clear head.
We’ve put together our own selection of activities—our recommended route—but you can absolutely build your own. The programme is endless.
If you want to start with something big, make a note of this: the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra at Plaza de la Marina, with a performance from 20:30 to 21:00.
It’s a brilliant way to kick things off outdoors, without heading straight into a venue—different, lively, and with a repertoire you’ll likely recognise.
One of the most original events: singer-songwriters performing on EMT bus lines (3, 7 and 11) from 20:00 to 22:00, with two runs (at 20:00 and 21:00).
It’s the kind of plan you’ll be telling your friends about the next day: “I got on a bus and there was a live concert.”
There’s also a free immersive experience at OXO Video Game Museum. Fast, modern, and easy to fit in between stops: OXO opens its immersive room with free access from 20:00 to 01:00, with short sessions and limited capacity.
Advance registration is required.
If you fancy something with extra charm, we recommend a visit to the Teatro Cervantes: “Impossible Harmony: the Cervantes in Málaga’s turbulent 19th century”, a narrative tour at the Teatro Cervantes from 22:00 to 23:30. Advance registration is required.
If you want to see the full official programme—with activities by venue, times, and registration requirements—check it directly on the official website: Noche en Blanco Málaga 2026 full programme.
Enjoy it without stress: park at Málaga Plaza
Noche en Blanco is amazing… until you lose half an hour looking for a space. That’s why, if you’re coming by car, the most practical option is to park at Málaga Plaza Shopping Centre’s car park (and if you want zero doubts, reserve your space). You arrive, you park, and you go straight to what matters: walking, improvising a little, and letting Málaga surprise you.
You don’t have to do everything. By choosing three or four strong plans, you’ll already experience Málaga city centre in a different, more artistic way. And if you’ve sorted parking from the start at Málaga Plaza, the night flows exactly as it should: no rush, no circling, and every reason to do it again.
